Research Areas
At the GIST Department of Physics and Optical Science, various research labs are active in fields such as optics, photonics, condensed matter, quantum information, plasma, particles, and computational science. Our faculty and researchers are also actively involved in various research centers, including the IBS Center for Relativistic Ultrafast Science and the SRC Center for High-Energy Density Physics, as well as domestic and international collaborative research projects.
