[남창희 교수] 강력장 양자전기역학 현상 세계 최초 입증

물리‧광과학과 남창희 교수와 고등광기술연구소 성재희 수석연구원 연구팀이 초강력 레이저를 이용하여 강력장 양자전기역학 현상인 비선형 콤프턴 산란을 실험적으로 입증했다고 밝혔다.  본 연구는 네이처 포토닉스(Nature Photonics)에 2024년 10월 14일 온라인 게재되었다.

The research team led by Professor Chang Hee Nam from the Department of Physics and Photon Science and Senior Researcher Jae Hee Sung from the Advanced Photonics Research Institute has experimentally demonstrated nonlinear Compton scattering, a phenomenon of strong-field quantum electrodynamics (QED), using ultra-intense lasers. This study was published online in Nature Photonics on October 14, 2024.
